Hi. I will need a taxi to go from Pop Century to Chef Mickey's (monorail will not be running at this time). I have a 3 and a 5 year old.....do they need a car seat in the taxi? Will the taxi provide them if needed?

We took a Taxi from POP to the WL last October with our then 4 and 6 year olds with no car seats. Taxi driver didn't even look at the kids just took off so my guess is it isn't a rule. We did have to put the over the shoulder belt behind our daughter so it didn't choke her so she only had the lap belt. Made me a little nervous but all went well.

Most taxi drivers don't acknowledge they need a baby seat. In Florida 4 years old and on up can use the regular seat belt. Children under 4 are required to use a baby seat. If a driver is caught without one he will be cited for allowing it, not you. You can request a taxi with a baby seat, but it might take a while.

Why not take the bus from Pop to Magic Kingdom, and then do the very easy 5 minute walk across the street to the Contemporary?

There ARE early buses to get people to even the earliest character breakfasts.
