I'm in the process of planning our 1st family trip to WDW in late Feb. I've got reservations for SofG and tics from SW Airlines...thanks to the tips from this site!! But, I'm now trying to arrange transportation from the airport. I'm not really looking to use MEARS, because I would really like for my girls to be in car seats for a 25 mile trip across Orlando. The problem I'm having is they are 2 year old twins weighing only 23 and 25 lbs. The car services only offer 1 carseat/1 booster seat in a van. *********** says this booster "should" work for a 25 lb child, but I'm afraid to get there and it not. Tiffany towncar offers the same but couldn't tell me much about the boosters. Has anyone tried these or have any tips for me?
Thanks in advance!!

SUV's will be able to handle two car seats at one time. There are several of these companies that will be able to help you out. You probably need to talk to the individual driver to get this going. Don't get a booster for a 2 year old. They need the protection of the car seat. A little bit of work and you can find what you need.

Call the companies directly and tell them you have twins - even if their website states "only one carseat/booster per car", that seems to not apply to twins!

Also - NO BOOSTERS. Your girls are too little!

FYI, we just came back from our trip and we used the board sponsor FL Tours. We specifically went with a van as we needed a rear facing car seat. When we got to MCO, the car seat was installed rear facing, but it was the travel system seat which our daughter is over the weight limit for. It was no big deal as we had bought our daughter a ticket on the plane and used our car seat from home. I just installed it into the van. It was not FL Tours fault as I didn't specify more clearly.

If I were you, I'd bring both car seats and install them into the van. When we have additional children, that's exactly what I will be doing.

A little off topic here, but we bought her a ticket on the plane and it was the best thing we could have ever done. Because we had to leave early in the morning, she ended up sleeping for 2 hours on the way down and an hour and a half on the way home. It would have been hell to have to hold her for that amount of time.

ETA: FL Tours was GREAT and we will be using them again for the van on our December trip.
