I am meeting family in Orlando to travel internationally from MCO. If I rent a car with Avis in Terminal A upon arrival, can I return it to Terminal C when we fly out?

Yes you can. They all operate interchangeably.

OK thanks. I figured that. We have 7 hrs between flights and I was going to rent a car and leave the airport but also wondering about just staying at MCO and killing the time. We will have bags to check in Terminal C and I'm worried that we won't be able to check them that long before the flight and therefore not be able to go through security. We can kill some time eating lunch but I wonder if there is anywhere outside of security to sit comfortably after we eat. All I recall in Terminal A/B are wooden benches. And btw I checked into a dayuse room at the Hyatt and that is unavailable.

It may be worthwhile to check into other hotels in the area and see if they have day use rooms for you. There are a number of hotels on Semoran Blvd just north of the airport that offer a shuttle to and from. Most airlines don't allow you to check luggage more than 4 hours, but you'd have to check with your specific airline for their policy at MCO.

I think most airlines don't allow you to check bags more than 4 hours before the flight. Terminal A/B has a big food court in the middle with tables/chairs. there are also chairs I think in the atrium area.
