What would be our best bet.

if we flew in and rented a car for the first few days of our trip then drove it to the Port for a Disney cruise.

Should we just park it for the 4 days to have it to drive up to our resort or should we get a company who's car rental is located close to the port and then re-rent a car just for the drive up to our resort?

i know there are a couple of car rental places near ddt which ones are the better ones?

You'll probably get more responses on the "transportation" forum here at the DIS. We always look for the best price and have never had any problems with whatever company we ended up with. When we started out pricing last year for our trip to Disney and then Marco Island, we started at over $400 for a midsize car for ten days; by the time I was done fussing with codes, discounts, etc., we ended up paying $225.

Kat's right and I'll be moving this one to the Transportation board.

Thanks,
