Is there any car rental company that has a drop off on Disney property?

I work for Enterprise Rent A Car, and am getting a car from their location close to Disney's CSR. They (as advertised) will pick you up at WDW and, when you're done returning the car, will give you a ride back to WDW property. I don't know of any company ON WDW site...but this worked well for me.

I also know that for a fee, you can get a car near WDW and return it to MCO (airport). The fee can vary...so inquire before you return the car to an alternate location.

Thanks for the info. We're taking a cruise out of Miami and when we come back we want to rent a car from the Miami airport and take it to Disney. We don't want to have to pay to rent the car the entire time we're there. We just need it to get from Miami to Orlando.

In that case, call a few companies and ask about one way rentals. "E" may or may not do it depending on if Miami and Orlando are the same 'group' of offices...I'm not sure that they are.

National Car Rental is ON-SITE at a couple of WDW locations.

I always go to the Swan Resort. There's a National rental counter near the lobby.

You can get to and from any resort on free Disney transportation from any open theme-park or DTD.

Then there you go....just remember to ask about 'one way' rental fees before picking up the car! Don't want to be surprised at the return location.

On property rental agencies:

Dollar Rental: Holdiay Inn (Downtown Disney/Hotel Plaza Boulevard)
Budget: Doubletree Suites (Downtown Disney/Hotel Plaza Boulevard)
Avis: Hilton (Downtown Disney/Hotel Plaza Boulevard)
National/Alamo: Dolphin Resort, Car Care Center (just outside the MK parking lot)

Thanks for all of the info. Sorry for posting in the wrong area.

Piggybacking on this, I am looking for a car rental place that is close enough to DW that I can return the car and then walk back to (DTD) property and catch a bus to a park. I am planning on picking up the car at the Amtrak station but don't need it for our entire stay. Any ideas? Was looking at Enterprise on World Center Dr but not sure how close this is.

Looking at post number 7, there's a Dollar at the Holiday Inn on Hotel Plaza Boulevard, a Budget at the Doubletree Suites on the same road and an Avis at the Hilton on the same road. This road is across the street from Downtown Disney.
Or you could rent from National or Alamo, return the car to their Car Care Center location and get a ride on the National/Alamo free shuttle back to your hotel.

Just an FYI - if you mean you're looking for Disney transportation, you'll have to connect at a resort from Downtown Disney. There are no busses to the parks from Downtown Disney.

If you meant the Downtown Disney hotels on Hotel Plaza Boulevard, then nevermind! :)

And no need to apologize for posting in the wrong area. That's one of the reasons the mods are here.

Hertz is located outside the gate by Bob Evans and they will drop you off at your hotel.

Do you think they will come pick you up as well? We want to rent a car and drive out to Busch Gardens probably and DS9 wants me to rent a Mustang Convertible. We are staying at the CBR and will only need the car for the one day.

Also, what or who is Bob Evans?

Thanks.

How much does Hertz charge to drop you at your hotel? Just to make sure I am clear, I can rent my Hertz car at the Amtrak station and then return it outside of Disney and they will drive me to ASMo?

When you are leaving WDW on the original road (the one built when WDW was built in 1971) you take the exit at the end to 192 going to us 27. Get way right. You will enter onto 192. Bob Evans is about a 1/4 mile from where you get onto 192 (just before Reedy Creek Blvd) and hertz is less than a half mile from where you get onto 192 (just after High Point Blvd). Both are on the right hand side.

Yes they will pick you up. I believe you need to give them one hour notice. Bob Evans is a family chain restaurant here is the web site with a picture of what it looks like.

No extra charge. It's part of their customer service. Be aware your rental will be a one way and will cost more. This applies on all their one way rentals. Other rental companies do the same or apply drop off charge.

Excellent. Thank you very much. I think I have this little dilemma solved. Appreciate the help.

As I look deeper. Would you know the address of this Hertz location. There seem to be several around and the prices vary greatly depending upon which one you choose. The Downtown HLE (E. Robinson St.) and the Orlando Wyndham (International Drive) seem to be similar prices, but I have no idea what the locations are in relation to WDW and the Caribbean Beach Resort. Any help?

Manning - you out there, maybe?
