Car rentals in Tampa...what codes, discounts???

When I've needed to have a car in Tampa I have rented one while still in WDW, so could use those Orlando discounts. But now I have to rent at Tampa Intnl, and I'm not sure what discounts I can get there. Can any of you help? Where do I go to find the cheapest way to rent in Tampa at the airport?? I only need a car for 4 days, in mid-Jan. Thanks guys.

Most of the codes on mousesavers will work in Tampa. Also BJs Sam's and Costco work in Tampa. The rental agencies coupons (IE: the ones you will find on National and Alamo's web site for dollars off) will work in Tampa.
Try the codes, if they are not allowed, the site will bump it back.

Also, be aware that different companies are on-site at Tampa than are at MCO. It seems to be the opposite. I believe National & Alamo are off-site at Tampa while they're on-site at MCO. We're flying into Tampa next trip, and I found the best deal with Budget which is on-site there.

The drive to National/Alamo is no more than 5 mins. Actually faster than walking to them at Orlando. Budget is also onsite at Orlando.

In May, we returned our Alamo rental to the airport in Tampa. It wasn't really that bad getting there or taking the shuttle back to the terminal. Perhaps Budget...we'll see.
