I hope this won't be my final rate, but it isn't terrible. I booked a minivan with Alamo (We have 6 in our party) for Dec 9-16 for a grand totall of $244. I am hoping that as we get closer to the dates that it goes down some more.

I,too, booked for Dec 9-Dec 16th. We have a small SUV for a grand total of $190.79 through Alamo. I booked it about a month ago.

I just used www.kayak.com and put in my dates. That was the best rate they had.

I also plan on flying southwest. We usually book early morning flights so I just booked it for 11AM and will hope for the best.
