Car Rental

I am debating on whether to rent the car for one day and return it to the car care center and rely totally on Disney transportation , or rent for the week and use the car to go from park to park? Do you save time waiting for a bus if you have the rental car in the parking lot?

One trip we relied on buses, and ever since have had a rental car the whole time. With the price of transport from the airport, that is about 1/2 of the car price. It is a great option to be able to go when and where you want. Also found now that park is only open to 10 or 11 its still pretty early, and instead of busing to your hotel, we can go for a snack, ride, DTD or PL the shopping village closes at 11pm. Even mini golf! Since the rental car copanies have been on line I haave saved a fortune in rental car prices! It pays to check and recheck. You can get a bargain. Just rent something small to get around, they are easy to park, and fun to drive. I will still use the buses sometimes like morning, or using monorail to epcot, but mostly we drive and park. With ap parking is free, as is if your staying on site! MKY
