Car Rental?

Not sure best place to post this, but I need to find a car rental and have been putting it off because I'm just not sure what I am looking for. I need to pick up a car in Orlando that I will drop off at Tampa airport 9 days later. How do I go about finding the best deals, and are there any hidden fees that I should be aware of espcially where I am dropping it off an a different location? I have an Entertainment book, so maybe I should start there looking for deals.

Any advice would be welcome!

Yes sometimes there is an extra charge for not returning it to where you rented it.

You also need one with unlimited miles - especially if you are planning on driving it to Tampa.

lots of time you can get a good discount through your credit card - ask....

Hi, we are picking up our rental at Tampa airport and dropping of 14 days later at MCO Orlando airport. We used the Budget mastercard coupon and discount that is available on their website . Booked an intermediate w/free one class upgrade to a full size for base rate $199.98 for 14 days. We got this rate for March 04.

Just booked our rental car for our trip next month. We're picking up our car at WDW, and dropping at Tampa, so we were limited to Alamo, National, (which have "booths" at the Car Care Center) and Dollar (which has their booth in the Courtyard by marriott hotel near Downtown Disney). Alamo will charge you a $20 fee for "one way drop off". If you go to mousesavers.com they have all sorts of codes you can try to get the best deal possible. We found that Dollar has their drop off at the terminal, which was a plus for DH, so that's who we're going with. If you're going to get your car at MCO, you'll have more car company options than we have. Good luck!
