I apologize if this question was already asked.
We've been to WDW a numerous of time in the past and we've always stayed on property and used the magical express. This trip we'll be staying off site this time and we decided to rent a car for the 14 days. We'll be picking our car at the Orlando Airport.

Im not too sure which car rental agency we should use, and any other tips or suggestions is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Eric

I choose the company depending on price and in terminal location. We've had a few different ones....all depends on price. I like to stay with the more common rental companies. You can always make a reservation, but don't prepay, that way you can keep checking prices and cancel and rebook if you find a better deal. Start early.

I used carrentalsavers.com, plugged in my info and booked the cheapest one. I then looked every day, sometimes multiple times a day and any time I found something cheaper I booked that then once I got the confirmation I cancelled the previous one. In the meantime I registered for the Dollar Express and Alamo Insider so if I ended up with one of them I could skip the counter and go right to the garage. A couple of nights before our trip my price went down $40 which made me super happy (I got that price at 11pm and at 8am the price was back up so it definitely paid to keep checking periodically).

It's a good idea to follow the car rental thread for the month you will be travelling. People are always sharing promo codes that they've come across, along with, price drops.

Be sure you to watch whether the company has an on-site terminal location or if you need to take a shuttle.

We use either National or Dollar and have never had a problem with them in Orlando. I would research prices through Expedia or some other travel site and then book directly with the rental company. When you decide which one see if you can sign up for one of their "clubs" that allow you to skip the counter in the airport.

Also, make SURE you inspect the car before you drive out. Photograph any dent or scratch regardless of how small and then bring them to the attention of one of the attendants.
