we rented from Enterprise - they came and picked us up at the hotel and back to do the paper work. It was really close by. I think there was another company atthe Tropicanna across the street from DL on Harbour.

I really hate to tell people to Google anything b/c it's not really helpful, but in this case I'll show you how handy it can be.

In Google maps search:

That will show you a map and listings of all the car rental agencies with their phone numbers. I see that there's an Alamo in DTD!

Yes, right around the corner from Compass Books. Faces the Sierra Tower of DLH.

I rented from this location in Aug. Just 2 min walk from DLH. One thing to note is that they only have one staff in that location. Sometime you need to wait outside if he/she went for lunch/dinner/bathroom break. I waited for 20 min outside last time ...

Most rental places are on Katella Ave. When me DF and I were there in May we got in an accident and ended up having to rent a car for the rest of our stay. We were at Jolly Roger on Katella and Harbor and walked to all the rental offices from our hotel.

Enterprise was the best! They gave us a great deal and even dropped us off aat the train station when we were leaving. We even got to switch cars half way through just to give us some exictment!
