Car rental - Universal - Cruise - WDW

So i don't know nothing about car rental, parking and anything that's related to this but i'm the one who plans our vacation so hopefully you guys can help me.

We are staying on property of Universal Studios for the first 6 night before boarding a 3 nights cruise at port canaveral and then go to disney world for another 6 nights.
We are definitely going to rent a car for the first days as we plan to drive around orlando and don't stay at the same place all the time. We won't be needing a car once we're at disney cause i think disney transportation between the parks and resort is just fine and we don't want to spend all money on parking.

Would you suggest renting a car, drive to the port, park until we get back , drive to disney and "give it back" there. Or should we use disney transportation to go from port canaveral to wdw..
or what's the easiest or cheapest way or most convienient way (and sorry for the bad spelling and grammar)

I have a "Plan A" and "Plan B" in this case...

Plan A
1) Rent car for first six nights.
2) Arrange to drop car at Cape Canaveral and use rental company shuttle to pier (need to confirm they still offer that in covid times)
3) Arrange for one day rental on cruise return, shuttle from pier to company, pick up rental & return somewhere on/near Disney property (depending on rental company). Get rental car shuttle to return to a park.

Plan B
1) Same as above
2) Same as above
3) Arrange for a town car service/ride share for transportation from Pier to WDW.

Plan A will probably be cheaper, but obviously will take a little extra time (probably an hour or two, if not three).
