Car Rental Through Last Minute Travel

I am considering renting a car through Last Minute Travel, but I cannot ascertain from the LMT website whether there are any additional fees/taxes which will have to be paid in addition to the final amount paid LMT.

Has anybody rented a car through LMT and, if so, did you have to pay any taxes or fees beyond what you paid LMT at the time of booking? Thanks for your help!

No one responded to my query regarding car rental through lastminutetravel.com, so I chatted with a customer service rep at LMT. Turns out the car rental rate on LMT does NOT include ANY taxes or fees, and LMT cannot tell you what those taxes and fees will be at the time of rental. Thus, unlike other online travel booking sites, you essentially are booking the nonrefundable base rate in advance without knowing what you eventually are going to pay in total. For instance, my rate on LMT was $187, but I likely would have ended up paying over $300.

While the LMT website has written policies addressing taxes and fees (in a section which you have to click before you can see it), I found the language to be so ambiguous that I had to check with this forum and then do the on-line chat to find the answer to my question. Hope this helps somebody else.
