Car Rental Rate Blues

Every day, I've been plugging in all of the codes and coupons at all of the major car rental companies for our 10 day trip in June.

The lowest quote that I've received so far is $235 from National.

I have Yourride booked, but it would be so much more convenient to have a car (especially for our resort changes)

Am I being unrealistic thinking that I can get a better rate?

Any of your input or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Well the best I've gotten for a full size rental is $165 for 7 days...So, considering the market these days....Personally if that includes fees I don't think it is too awful....for 10 days...

$235 for 10 days is $23.50 per day. You are being unrealistic if you think you can do better. You can't find much better than that. Count your lucky stars and book that rate if it's still available.

I agree Zulaya,
I have a full size for a week from National for 159.07 total. I used a 20.00 coupon from BJ's and the AARP code. I am pretty happy with this rate.....BUT, I will keep on checking.

That link doesn't give you any better/or worse rate than if you just went to
