For those that have used Priceline, what do the additional fees usually add up to? For example, with a hotel there is additional fee, so I assume the same is true for car rental.
We are considering doing this for our one-way transfer's from LAX to Disneyland later this year. With a rental car you can make a grocery stop and then simply drop off the car at the rental office in Anaheim.
I have gotten up to the point of actually bidding. Priceline will give you the breakdown of taxes and fees which are not a part of your bid. For example....to bid $20 for a stand car rental, one-way, one day it would be $31 with the airport and california taxes and fees.
I'm pushing for an absurdly low bid and see what happens --- the worst they can do is say....NO.
I have never used Priceline - so it's all new to me, however.
