I have a rate I am actually happy with for President's week. I am coming into Sanford, so I know the rates can be a tad bit higher there.

I am checking rates and they're at least $300 more than I booked for. Do you think they'll come down at all as last minute specials? I'm surprised how high they are. I am happy with my rate, but wouldn't mind saving a little too.

Super, but I was looking for Sanford, 2/19 - 2/26. I have a great rate for that week and Sanford ($230 for a full size) but I was hoping to squeak in under $200 or closer to it. I'll take a standard car but nothing smaller. We have luggage for 4.

We have booked a crossover for $650 from Feb. 17-28 which is so high! I booked it a while ago and have been checking regularly since and I can't get any lower. I would be happy with a full size car but the crossover was cheaper when I booked. We have booked many times before and never paid more than $275 but we have never been there during President's Week (we are Canadian so I didn't realize the holiday when we booked). I have used the Costco ID number and coupon. Any suggestions for anything lower???

Do you have a BJ's card? Or anyway to get one? I just checked your dates from MCO and it was only $351 for your dates with Dollar. Still high but much less than your rate. I'm not sure if it is different if you book from Canada?

Splashmom, BJ's is just like Costco but it is more regional. We have both Costco and BJ's here.

On the carrentalsavers site you can get a SUV for $580 from Budget or a fullsize from Dollar/Thrifty for $585.
We're going from Feb 22 - Mar5 and have found the same problem with high prices.
