Car Rental On Property?

Hi - is there a place on WDW property to rent a car? Our friends need to rent one just for a day trip to the ocean (their kiddos have never been ). Does anyone know of one and perhaps a phone #? Thanks!!

Alamo has locations on the Walt Disney World property. If you are staying at any of the Disney resort hotels and just want to pick up a car for part of your stay, have the hotel's front desk staff call and arrange for a shuttle ride to the Car Car Center. (It's best to request this the night before.) There are also Alamo desks at the Dolphin Hotel near the Boardwalk and at the Wyndham Palace Resort near Downtown Disney.

Just back from WDW, and 'yes' Alamo is the "official" rental car company. But Alamo and National share a common pool of rental cars, employees and corporate structure. The on-site rental agency is actually "branded" to both companies - it sports both Alamo AND National signs. So I think you can rent from either Alamo OR National ...
