Car rental on property?

Does anyone know if there is a location on property (maybe at the transportation center?) where we can rent a car? We would like to have wheels for a day but don't want to have the car for our entire vacation. Thanks for the help.

National and Alamo are at the Car Care center and also at the Dolphin.

We use Alamo at the Dolphin and often receive a free car class upgrade.

There's also an Avis desk and a Budget desk over at the Hilton & Doubletree hotels in the Downtown Disney hotel area.

If you use ALAMO at the Dolphin - be sure to reserve a car in advance - they only keep what they plan to rent out at the resort.

OR you can go to the car care center near the Magic Kingdom - Alamo is there and generally has cars. Good luck!

Thanks so much, everybody!! My husband has been dying to go to Gatorland, but we love Magical Express and really didn't want to have to rent a car for the whole trip. This will make getting to those gators a whole lot easier!

There is an Alamo location at Buena Vista Palace hotel just across the street from WDW bus at the Downtown Disney marketplace.

It has been my experience in the past that the Dollar location @ the Regal Sun resort has the best $$$ for rentals. they are just across the street from DTD.
