Car rental, not a DVC owner

I decided to go with a rental the entire time. I rather not need it than my son have a medical emergency and I not have a car. Thanks for the info.

This is one thing I'm not sure about. It says that DVC members staying on points have free parking. But what about guests who rented DVC points? Do they ask for a DVC membership card or just give you a free parking voucher when you check in on points? Thanks. Trying to weigh renting a car for two extra days for our stay at Aulani or just shuttle it.

When we rented DVC points (before we bought in), we got the same DVC free parking benefits. Didn't have to say or show anything - it was already programmed into our parking card key (believe it was the same room key used for parking). FYI - your room key is also programmed with the DVC benefit of free DVD rentals.

Do we pay for parking each day, every time we exit or how do they keep track?
