Car rental near Universal Resorts?

Couldn't find this answer in transportation as most want to know how to get from WDW to UNiversal.

My trip next year I need to get from Universal's RPR to Loews Miami Hotel....(cruise after 2 day Miami visit)

I think a car rental is best idea but am open to other suggestions....

Does anyone know where the closest car rental company would be to RPR?

I know there is an Alamo in Four Points Sheraton Suudio City. Its only a $5 cab ride to get there from Citywalk. We saw the signs and cars there and used the cab ride once as well.

I know that PBH has an alamo pick up right at the hotel- this would be in walking distance from RPR

Hi all, posted this ? in transportation also and found out that Hertz has a rental area in all 3 Universal hotels...

We can rent a "convertible" at RPR and bring it back next day in Miami. Cost is $110 total with unlimited miles...that is with 15% AAA discount!...kinda pricey but DD wanted a "cool car" watch..it will rain

still our cheapest way by far to get there.....plus we are renting from 5 pm to 5 Pm so we are going to Downtown Disney the night we rent car...would have been an expensive taxi ride so we are actually saving money and doin' it in style

OH I am soo glad you said that..I am really looking forward to staying there! So it is a good choice? There are SO many hotels there!! Please give me a review......suggestions etc..never been to Miami before.....
