Car rental @ MCO with Costco discount?

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if any Canadian Costco members have ever rented through Alamo at MCO using the Costco discount? I tried to confirm the discount at my local Costco but they were not sure.
I entered the code on the Alamo site and get a great rate but is this discount only for American Costco members?

We do all the time. I book it on the Costco. com site and have never had an issue. Costco cards are world-wide. I have used mine in the UK when we visited last Sept
The reason we do Alamo is you get to choose the car you want to drive. They put all the sized cars in different lanes if the garage and it's a free for all. My hubby loves to sit in the car 1st and see how comfortable it is before we rent it. Also helps if you need more room for bags/ kids

I do it all the time too. Not only can you use Costco discount but you can also shop in the Us Costco with your card.

We've never had a problem either. We have done it many times. I prefer using Alamo as we can pick the car we want from the line up.

hmmm this is something I will have to look into. We booked this trips car with Advantage as they were a real good price ($8/day) and we had a coupon for a upgrade. But we can still cancel.

Normally we book with Priceline but decided to go a different route.

I have never used my COSTCO card for travel and I am thinking I should see what I can get. So if I go on Costco.com and use my membership number I should see a price?currently I have a minivan at MCO from March 7-19 for $450.00 plus tax. With Budget using a discount code.

Right now the lowest is over a $1000 for your dates through Costco with any of the different car rental companies.

One last question. Using the Costco code, am I able to check in at the kiosk and bypass the line? I know some codes do not allow you to use the kiosks. Last time we rented from Alamo at MCO I could have really used a fast pass for the line to check in

Would be alot easier if we could use the kiosk, pick the car, show my info and costco card at the gate and start our Disney vacation!

Yes you can use the kiosk no problem.

I don't know your dates but you may want to check expedia.ca as well since they have some good deals as well depending when you are travelling.
