Car rental in Clearwater Beach to Disney?

We are going to Clearwater Beach in the summer, staying at Hyatt Regency. We are then driving to Disney for a few days. Where is the easiest place to rent a car that isn’t outrageously expensive? Do any local places have a service where they pick you up? Uber to Tampa airport for a cheaper rate?

Any advice or personal experiences are very welcome. Thank you!

We usually fly into the St. Pete/Clearwater airport (PIE) for our beach vacations and rent a car. All the major rental companies are there. I like to check Priceline first for prices.

It’s like a 15-20 minute drive from the beach so no need to go to Tampa unless you’re flying home from there. Hyatt may have an airport shuttle to take you or taxi/rideshare would work.

When we were in Madeira Beach, we spoke with someone who rented a car from a stand alone Enterprise location in the area. They said it was much cheaper - even using a ride share to get there from the airport - then getting the car from the Tampa airport Enterprise.
