Car Rental in Anaheim

So we are just a few weeks away from our BIG SURPRISE TRIP! Originally we had not planned to rent a car. We are dedicating most of our stay to DL and DCA but are going to spend the weekend out at Legoland and Universal. DH was resistant to renting a car and driving in Cali but after doing the numbers and getting a steal of a deal on tickets for the parks, we didn't want to have to spend $35/person on bussing, when I can spend $35/day for a car rental. His questions are: do the rentals come with GPS? How difficult is it to get to Legoland and Universal? And we will need a booster seat for our youngest DD, do the rental companies provide them?

Rentals can come with a GPS but at a charge. If you go to the alamo at downtown disney and check their website I bet it will tell you all what extras they have.

You definitely won't need a GPS for Legoland. It's right off of the 5 freeway and well-marked. Universal is only slightly more complicated--you will take the 5 freeway to the 101 North and it's off of the 101, also well-marked. Going to Universal will take you right through Los Angeles (it's unavoidable) so try not to go in rush hour traffic. Leaving DLR after 9-10am and heading back after 7pm should be okay. Neither are huge parks that require open-to-closing for attendance, particularly Legoland.
