Car rental help please....

We are planning on renting a vehicle up here (PA) somewhere and driving to WDW in June. My question is, what companies are close enough to WDW that we could drop the car off and VERY easily return to our resort. We are planning on arriving mid day Saturday, dropping the luggage and the kids at ASMo and DH or myself returning the car. I know Alamo is at the car care center. If we have to go with them, that would be fine. Are there other options though, within a short walking distance of DTD perhaps?

Alamo and National both have a counter at the Dolphin Resort. If you want to drop the car off there, you could just walk over to MGM, or take a friendship boat there, and hop on your resort bus.
There are also various rental companies in the different hotels in DTD. I believe Budget is at the Doubletree. But, there are others. And some of them will give you a ride back to your resort from their offices.

I rented from the Car Care Center last August for transport to Port Canaveral for our cruise. It was very easy. I called the day before and scheduled a 1 pm pick up at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Although we stopped at 2 other resorts, I was back on my way to AKL in my rental car in about 45 minutes. I can only assume that the drop off would work the same way.

All (of the DTD hotels) but the Hilton DTD would require more than a "short" walk (10 minutes or so)...
