Car Rental from Gainesville, Florida

Wondering if anyone has flown into the Gainsville Aiport and rented a car from there. Looking for a cheap midsize car or larger for 8 days. Had to fly into Gainesville as I had enough Frequent Flyer Miles for 2 airline seats and of course there was nothing available flying into Orlando. We were going to get a car anyway as we are visiting the in-laws first for a few days in Fort Myers. Been looking on different car sites and the cheapest is around
$300-$350. Wondering if there are ever any codes or coupons or if anyone knows of how to get any good deals from this airport. Thanks.
