Car Rental from Disney

I am renting a car from Alamo and will be at All Star Music, and will be going to Universal the first day of the car rental. Would I be better off renting from the Car Care Center or the Dolphin? Which location would be closer to Universal and more time efficient?

Hmmm...I think the Dolphin would be better since you are closer to Downtown Disney than the CCC. The reason I say that is you can go through DD and make a left on Apopka Vineland Road and then make a right onto Palm Parkway to get to Universal...all this w/o having to deal with I-4.

But I wonder if the Dolphin would take longer because I would first have to take Disney bus to DHS and then from there walk or take boat over to Dolphin, because I don't think the Dolphin car rental provides transportation from hotel.

I think you will have issues with having to transfer either way. The Car Care Center is right by the entrance to the TTC.

The bus does not stop there and you can't walk it. You would have to take a cab.

The Dolphin would be easier for after picking the car up.
