Car Rental - Fort Lauderdale. Can't find ANYTHING under $300

HELP. Guys, I need suggestions. I can't find a car under $300 for a week in Fort Lauderdale. We want to pick up from the FLL airport, full week rental, mid-size for 4 adults. Any suggestions!? HELLLLPP! $300 is WAY too much.

I know how you feel. We'll be flying into Vegas in August for a week in AZ/UT and our rental is almost $350/week for a minivan. Crazy.

I would start looking at codes on mousesavers.com. It's all about saving $ in/for Disney but many discount codes can be used in any city.

I like to book through American Express Travel or Costco. Both have had great rates every time. I book a car rental 3-4 times a year.

UPDATE!! I was able to go through my Chase Ultimate Rewards travel to find an Alamo car for $163!! My dates were mid-August. Never traveling in the summer again... too $$$$!

Wow that's a huge savings! Even with my Costco rate it's still high for us.

Much better rate. If that's changeable or able to be cancelled, keep looking. You're still a few months out. In car rental terms, that can often be 2 months too many to be really seeing the bargains.
