Car Rental for one day

Staying at POFQ in Feb and need a car for one day to drive to KSC. Can someone please give me their opinion for best option -- using rental location at the CCC or Dolphin, or taxi to DTD hotel, or use someone like Hertz that will pick you up? Will be taking the ME from MCO. Thanks in advance!

We usually take a bus to DTD and walk across the street to the Hilton hotel where there is an Avis rental counter. Usually cost $30 to rent for the day. Search online for rental discount code.

There's Dollar in the Regal Sun Resort at DTD(formerly Grosvenor) (at least I think it's still there)

We used it when it was the Grosvenor with no issues.
