Hey guys, I'm thinking about possibly renting a car when/if i go down to Orlando with my friend. I didn't think we could becuase of the 25 year age requirement, but I saw that they will rent to someone who is at least 21 years old for an extra fee. I was wondering if anyone knew how much that extra fee is. Also, is it a standard fee across the board or does each company charge a different fee (the extra fee, not the price for the car)? Thanks for any info you could give.

The extra fee for drivers under 25 varies from one company to another. It is usually per day and more than ten dollars a day is not unusual. You should be able to find it in the rental company's policies or rules as published in the company's web site.

On top of that, some companies may require that persons under 25 also buy some of the optional coverages.

A few companies don't rent to persons under 25.

Thanks for the help. I couldn't find out the prices where i was looking on the different sites, but it looks like it's about an extra $27 a day, and that looks to be standard fee for all the companies that offer it. We're fine with taking the busses, which was our original plan, but having a, car just makes things easier especially if we want to go someplace outside Disney.
