Car Rental Dropoff at WDW

I'm renting a car in Tampa and driving to WDW for a 5 day stay at Pop Century. Then flying home out of Orlando.

I plan to take DIS Magical Express to Airport on the last day of trip.

When I drive to the World, where would be the best place to drop off the rental, and how then would I get to Pop Century to being my vacation. I'm thinking that once I get to the World I'll be able to use Disney transportation.

Does the Car Care Center offer buses to the resorts?

yes but you can also drop off at the swan or dolphin then walk to dhs or epoct or take a bus to dtd or magic kingdom and then transfer to the pop bus.

Keep in mind that the Car Care Center only services National/Alamo -- all other car rental companies are spread-out at different resorts on/near WDW.

I believe Hertz has a drop off location at Shades of Green.

I tried to return our car there but every time the site told us no drop of.

I would drop-off passengers and luggage at Pop Century first, check-in, THEN drop-off the car at the Dolphin (National or Alamo). If you're going to a theme park, just take transportation from the Dolphin: walk or boat to Epcot and DHS, or bus to AK and MK.

You may have to "override" the website and call Hertz reservations, directy -- I can't see why they wouldn't accept a "local" (Orlando area) car...

OTOH, if the car is rented from outside of Orlando, the SoG location may be unable to accept it...

Were renting in Fort Myers so that could be the problem.
