Anyone have any luck with a good deal for a minivan? It seems like some of those codes aren't working for me and I just can't find a good deal. We go May 1-8. And minivans are so darn expensive! Thanks!

I was able to get a full-size through Alamo May 1st-8th (with a few extra hours over the 24 hours) for $180.xx (this includes ALL taxes, fees).

We are flying into Tampa, but I was able to book a full-size (apparently to be upgrade to an intermediate SUV on check-in) with the additional driver for $156 taxes included using the Costco Travel codes and coupon for April 25 to May 3. Should be a little cheaper if you are flying into Orlando. Good Luck

I wasn't going to use Alamo this trip, I wanted to try a different company, but when I checked Alamo renting through Costco, I couldn't pass it up. I got a midsize for $133 from 5/6-5/11! Usually we get a compact, but for some reason, the midsize was much cheaper than the compact.

Did you check Alamo's rates. Just quickly, I was able to find a midsize for $273 or a full-size for $285 for your dates using codes from Mousesavers.

Which car place is the best ... National or Alamo
With National we would be picking up using our Emerald Club bypass and "could" get a better car and would save time. I do not know about Alamo (I did use them once at the Swan and thought that their service was "poor.")

However ... $$$$ is $$$$

I have used Alamo three times in the Orlando airport and never had a problem, but....

Anyhow, I used the SUNPROMO code and the AD6974JDM coupon for the $273price.

FYI if you have a Costco card, using their discounts your car came to $266 for a midsize with additional driver included.

I went to the alamo site and put in out dates along with thos codes but I got $297 (still less than National but what am I doing wrong?)
