Car Rental/Bus

Hi Everyone,

I've been looking at all the information about shuttles and rental cars and just wanted to see opinions.

We are arriving at 10pm with a 3 and 5 year old for a short trip Thursday-Monday. We know that we can't use the one shuttle because it is already closed.

A rental car is only around $100. Parking at the hotel would be $80. Is it worth it to just rent a car and bring boosters then? Is one car company closer than the others (we have never flown to LAX and are only used to on property rentals at MCO).

How much is Uber/Lyft compared to a rental? Do you have travel boosters (e.g. Bubblebum or Mifold)? Those make Uber/Lyft or car service very easy at DLR. There are several rental companies with offices very close to the parks, e.g. Alamo, Enterprise, Hertz, etc. So you wouldn't even have to keep the car for 24 full hours if you didn't want to pay the hotel parking fee for the full length of your visit. Lansky Car Service will provide boosters, but I don't know how late they do pick ups. They get great reviews on this board.

We generally uber or lift. We bring our car seats and use them on the plane and car.
