Car rental at port???

Hi there:
Looking into the 4 night cruise next June and would like to head to Vero Beach after the cruise. Does anyone know if there is a car rental near the ship??? Also, which airport would be closest to fly out of after a few days at Vero??

There are several car rental agencies near the port at Canaveral. We have used both Budget and Avis. I believe both also have shuttles to the rental area (I know Budget does) - so you can just take the shuttle to the car rental agency right off the ship.

I am curious about airports though, as we are planning on a short stay at Vero after WDW in 2006.
