Car question

If we choose to take our car to the parks when staying late for fireworks and EMH how busy is it getting out of the parking lot and back to our resort (ASMu this time) ?

My ds' has issues being in big crowds and i've read the AS busses are very crowded.

You and everybody else is trying to get out of the parking lot at the same time. Disney is good with traffic control, but it does take some time just to move all those cars. Best advice is to either leave before the last blast of fireworks or to really take your time leaving the park after the fireworks are over.
