Hi everyone, hope you are having a good Saturday!

I have just been looking at the Busch Gardens website and they have two different car parking charges dependant on the vehicle - as I think most of the parks do, we have 6 adults and 2 kids in a big bus thing - I think it's the next one up from the usual mini van that you get. I was just wondering will this count as the car parking or the van / bus / rv parking fee? If it's the latter then it bumps up to $11 a day :scared1: which I think is quite a lot!

I don't think we would get everyone in a mini van and all the luggage though do you?

Thanks
Gems

How many days are you planning to go to Busch for?

$11 is only about £5.50 per day - which isn't that bad compared to parking in the UK. Divided by the 6 adults in the car it's doesn't seem that bad.
Compared to how much you are paying for the holiday and park tickets etc. it's a very small percentage :)

Cant help sorry, but i always begrudge paying for car parks for places where there's no possible other reason for me parking there other than to go to their attraction.

$11 tho is nowhere near as bad as the £8 they charge you for Alton Towers!

God bless the strong pound at the moment :goodvibes

I think most of the parks have the two different fees for the car parks, but we are there for 3 weeks so it could end up costing us a pretty penny!

Luke - I agree I begrudge paying it when you don't get a choice, I think they should drop the prices of the carparking to be honest.

Get an AP for one adult in the party at WDW and that covers the cost of parking and you get other discounts such as 10% off at World of Disney in DTD.

Claire ;)

Ahh good idea Claire! How much is an AP these days?

Do you want a Premium AP to include water parks? I think it is about $560.

Claire ;)

No just a regular one as we have some tickets left from last time for TL, but it's January so I doubt that we will get to use them anyway unless it's really warm with the kids.

I have to say the pricing for car parking is very good.
That price covers the repair and maintenance of the car park, the transportation to and from the car to the entrance, the security, the lighting and maintenance of these lights, probably contributes to the road system in WDW, the "free" WDW transportation busses etc etc.
Not bad at all.

Goingt to be much more expensive to travel through Manchester soon....

Ordinary AP is $461. Then you could get the DDE card if eatting on site at a few Table Service restaurants.

Claire ;)
