Mind you Mike, many Travel agents/package holidays only ever give you the smallest car available anyway, so a couple can end up in a sub compact car with no room whatsoever for their cases

you would think they would try and give u the biggest car they could to make more money from you lol or are they trying to charge you loads for a small car

ah well, that is the game. many fly/drives advertise "free" car hire, where you pay for the taxes etc but not the car so they make not so much money, s the idea is to put you in the smallest car possible (especially if they do not even have these on their books!) then charge you to upgrade to a decent sized car.
