Car Hire vs Train/Bus from Orly South

It seems like it's not too expensive to hire a car versus bus/train tickets for me and my family (2 kids at 2 and 4 years).

I have GPS with me. Do any of you have any comments on hiring a car versus train/bus?

I wouldn't recommend the train, as it would take about an hour and a half and require two changes - not much fun, even without small children!

The Orly VEA leaves hourly from the airport and from the onsite hotels. It will cost you 94 euros in total for the return trip. Just out of interest, how much is the car hire? And will you need to use it at all once you get to DLP?

The car hire is 150 EURO, so I guess it is a bit more expensive. We are staying at the New York Hotel so the parks and village are not exactly far away.

I read som posts that there is shoving and pushing to get on the buses, and bringing baggae and kids, I am really not to much tempted to go for a bus ride like that.

I can honestly say that in the six or so times that I've used the VEA from the airport, I've never experienced any problems. Maybe I'm just a very lucky person!!
