I have used airnet for years, had great prices from them but this year their prices have gone up, others have come down. They used to be very competative but for the 1st time in years I have used above site, still with Dollar for Easter £251, full size with extra driver a tank of gas. £40 cheaper than Airnet.
I always pay for 2dr full size with Dollar, someone told me they only stock 4 door, so far I have never had a 2 dr in 14 years.

Hi Wayne, we also sussed out the 2dr/4dr cars a while ago, i've only ever booked a 2 dr in the last few years and always got a 4 dr!!

Hi guys

Just about to start a new thread on the same subject but thought it would be just as easy adding it here.

My thread would have concerned obtaining a hire car when using the corporate code quoted on the Magicard (obtained from Orlandoinfo.com). I was searching this morning for a car whilst visiting April/May and decided to use the code with both Dollar and Thrifty. Both returned good prices but then you have to add in all the extras which with Thrifty was about $50 a night. Dollar didn't show he additional cost so e mailed them for a response but will have to wait 3 days.

I was therefore wondering Whether any DIS members had ever used this way of booking or because of the insurance requirements of a UK visitor is it better to book a fully inclusive package?

Before commenting I did a search on the DIS using Magicard but all comments appear to be from our cousins across the pond who seem to use this and other codes all the time.

Sorry to go on but it is Monday and its raining (again).:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

I have never booked that way, always worked out too expensive with the extras added. Now I never even look, booked here full size car with extra drivers and tank of gas works out about £18/night all in, I am happy wth that.
