Car Hire Question

Hi. We are staying at the Beach Club in October and want to hire a car for a few days. We were considering picking up at the Swan and Dolphin, but don't know how walkable / how long it would take from our resort. The other option for us is picking up at the car care centre. Does any one have any experiences of either option, as I wonder I'm wondering which idea is more workable? Thanks!

Maybe a 10 minute walk. Most of us save money by waiving the overpriced "waivers" and pre-paid gas option. Some agencies don't let UK residents waive some of the high priced "extras". Read the fine print when you price the rental.

Post in the UK forum. I think there are some UK agencies that arrange a rental car but are able to include their own coverage for you.

The Beach Club and the Dolphin are very close to each other. There are walking paths connecting the resorts--it's about a 10 minute walk, tops.

You can easily walk from the Beach Club to the Swan/Dolphin in around five to ten minutes. Simply exit the Beach Club on the Boardwalk side (Epcot side). Then turn right and keep on walking. You will pass the Yacht Club on the right and up over the bridge you will see the Swan/Dolphin.

Thanks for the quick response! It sounds like the walking option is very workable for us after all - it fits with the schedule better as well, as DD if off on the Pirate Cruise that morning.
