Hi All,
Need some help with car hire please. I have just received an email from Yescarhire, with an offer that sounds pretty good. 14 days car hire, 7 seater for £299(£375 with gold ins). Only problem is we are only there for 12 days! So, was wondering if we could book it, and just take the car back 2 days early! Is that possible?
Any help/advice gratefully received!:)

I personally would never touch anything to do with any 'YES' company. Especially if they are affiliated with YES loans and Car credit companies.

Um, don't know about that; but think we have used them before, and they were ok. That's why we got the email. They use Alamo, and I know Wayneg has mentioned them....:confused3

I know nothing about Yes Car Hire, certainly don't know if they are anything to do with any other "YES" company.

Firstly what I don't like is the tab to take you to their T&C's does not work. I would want to 100% certain you can take the car back early without penalty.
This is from Alamo's site but I don't understand it, I doubt it relates to UK pre paid rentals but as you can't access the T&C's you can't be sure.
Early Return Policy

An Early Return fee is charged at a rate of $15 per rental when a vehicle is returned at least one calendar day early and total daily/weekly charges is less than the initial charged amount.

Personally I would be 100% sure and just book 12 nights, netflights.com £315 all incl or £399 Gold/Platinum Book thru Quidco.com and get 5% off makes it £299.25 and £379.05
That was 1st company I checked others might be cheaper.

I might have never used them, don't know anything about them sorry.

So sorry Wayne, didn't mean to insinuate anything. I just noticed they were one of the hire co's you mentioned on another thread, and I don't really know if we have used them either, because I've never had to book it myself before!

Um, and just to confirm what a complete dimwit I am, what's quidco pl?

Is it not possible to book car for 12 days? We have booked ours for 11days with carhire3000, as recommended on this site, and it was £200. Not a 7 seater but maybe you could still get cheaper deal that Yescarhire.:)

Hi,
Thankyou! I have looked at carhire3000, and it is cheaper; but my husband wants to book through Alamo because (wait for it....) he gets to choose the car!!!!!!:rotfl2: Yes, and they say us women are fussy!
After approx 21 hours travelling with 3 teens, and a 5 hr stopover in philadelphia; it could be pink with purple spots for all I care; as long as it gets us to the hotel and a bed!!!

:rotfl2: Quidco is a cashback site, everyone who buys anything off teh internet should be registered with one. Personally I prefer Rpoints.com but tehy are more difficult to use, Quidco.com is easier if you know nothing about it. You just click thru their site and they earn cashback for giveing the company(Netflights) the business. Quidco then give you the cashback in return for £5/year membership. If you don't earn anything you don't pay anything. I have had £1,500 cashback in the last 3 years. get money back for Virgin hols, car insurance, anything.

The deal with Yescarhire is for 14 days only, I checked for 12 days and it was very expensive. But other companies are almost as cheap for 12 days.

The Netflights deal was with Thrifty/Dollar so you wouldn't get to choose a car with them.
