Hi, we are back in the world for 8 days and was hoping to get away with just using the Disney transport to keep the cost down until I heard the direct bus from the village to Florida Mall is no longer running :sad2:

I am now looking for a good price on car hire, thanks to a link from Wayne last time we got 2 weeks for approx £130 (before quidco) with the gold rate which was brill, but am now struggling to get anything less for 1 week! best I can find is auto europe at £129 without the gold cover. If anyone is kind enough to check what I might be missing we travel on 26th April picking up approx 3.30pm and dropping off approx 18.30 on 3rd may, Orlando airport with cheapest car (just 2 of us) but with gold rate if poss!

TIA, Debs xxx

The lynx 50 from DTD to Seaworld takes 20 mins and then you pick up the 111 from Seaworld to Florida Mall and that takes 30 mins, all for $2 one way...somewhat cheaper then hiring a car:)

Ah thank you, thought it had stopped altogether, would just be nice to have a chill out shopping day so we will look into that! :thumbsup2

Thanks Wayne, it might have been a price error, I just thought it was a great deal lol! I have deleted my emails now but it was when we went on 30th oct for 2 weeks last year and I'm positive it was £130 using the code you advised, think it was a double discount with quidco! ;)

Hi, I read somebody post on here that a taxi to Florida mall was almost as much as the car hire itself, if we did hire a car we would go other places to get our money's worth inc a trip to our workplace of costco to stock up on beer and cereals etc! ;)

Info here for 15% off plus Quidco at 11% for next 2 days (16% on 14+ days)
Smallest car would be £121.55 less 11% = £108.18
With Gold(max) £150.57 less 11% = £134.01

Are you sure you got 2 weeks for £130 with gold? was it a price error?

Finally managed to backtrack on my statements, it was actually £230.00! :rolleyes1 (tried to look for the embarrassed smilie)! Was still a good price thanks to you though, I will see if anything comes up before we go! :thumbsup2

Would be cheaper now then thru the link I posted, 2 weeks with gold from 26th Apr = £250 less 16% = £210
If you keep watching their site they sometimes release codes for US, last few sales have not included US rentals.

We are only going for 7 nights this time but i will keep looking, thank you! :thumbsup2

They have a 12% code on their site "EARLYBIRD12" and cashback has increased to 12%

Final price if cashback pays out £119.66. Can't see you getting better than that for a weeks (8 days) rental with extra drivers and tank of gas.

Hi Wayne, we are now going for 2 weeks on 26th April, I just rang holiday autos and they have quoted £137 for max from the 2nd day we get there until the day before we leave, I mentioned about picking up from the hotel (POR) but the pick up and drop off point would be 1,000 Car Drive, Orlando Disney Downtown, seems a really good price (cheaper than online through quidco) is it easy to get to? We are getting Magical Express from Orlando Airport as I hate the rushhour drive! :)

Car Care centre is near MK, you can ring them to collect you from POR and they will drop you off at the end of the rental. More details here http://disneycarcare.co.uk/

Thank you, the guy at holiday autos said we would have to get a taxi! :guilty:

Its a service Americans seem to expect, I once dropped off at Dollar Hwy 192 then planned to get a taxi back to our hotel 10 miles away, we had booked a Virgin transfer to Cleawater. They insisted on taking me back.

It's great, I'll ring them when we get to the hotel for hopefully a pick up the next day! Seems a good price too, we paid £230 for 2 weeks last time and I thought that was a bargain, at £137 almost a £100 less for 2 days less! :thumbsup2

I'm just trying to get a quote on my dates from 12th Aug 10.30pm to 1st Sept 5p but I can't seem to get one when I go through quid and type in the additional info at the end.

Do I just add onto the full Quidco link with the one account info or do I delete any of the info and then add the one account info into the link?

Thanks

Andrea :o)

Log into Quidco.
Goto HA page via Quidco link,
Then replace everything after .co.uk/ with cgi-bin/liveweb.sh/QSearch.w?ctryref=GBR&lang=EN&aff=xoneaccount

Now ready to book.
If you are just wanting a quote use the link in post #1, don't bother with all the above.

Instructions are in Post #3 same as I have put above.:thumbsup2
