Car Hire Companies

Hi, i have been searching the internet this morning and looking for prices on car hire for 9 days in October, for a small, low end car.
This is what i have found:


Alamo.co.uk = £153
Airline-Network.co.uk = £176
SkyCars.co.uk = £187
Dollar.co.uk = £203
HolidayAutos.co.uk = £209.00
Avis.co.uk = £211.19
Hertz.co.uk = £212.99

All seem to include all the extras but i was looking at a previous thread about the Alamo offer which made me unsure about the price.

Who would you use and are their any hidden extras on any of the prices?

I think it will be either alamo or AirlineNetwork.

Alamo includes:

is there anything else that needs to be put on top of that?

is there anything else that needs to be added to this?

Which one would you choose?

I have used Airline Network for my last two flights to the USA and car-hire.

On both occasions the car was with Dollar and I have no complaints. The last time I got a brand new Chrysler 300M (80 miles on the clock!), immaculate and it only took 15 minutes from arriving at the Dollar desk to driving off...

I have used Alamo - no real complaints. I prefer Dollars Chryslers and Hertz's Lincolns to Alamos Buicks - just find them easier to drive and more comfortable (seem altogether more modern cars?)

As for 'extras' - I had the pre-paid almost-all-inclusive package from AN and I didn't have anything extra to pay. I say amost-everything as I didn't need the extra drivers or tank of gas etc.
