Car Hire - Cheap deals?

Hi,

I went in August 2010 and picked up a great deal on Car Hire via Netflights. £205 for 2 weeks 4x4. Cant get anywhere near this year. Anybody got any tips??

Car hire has gone up quite a lot recently.
You don't say which airport or dates so I just did a random 2 weeks in August (1st-15th) from MCO.

I am using AutoEurope in August, they are very competative just now, they are quoting £275.54 less 8.5% Quidco = £252.12 or incl tank of gas and extra drivers £300.50 after cashback. Thats for Ford Escape with ac or similar Midsize, Automatic

Next size up is cheaper with Netflights at £280.06 after 5% Quidco cashback but very expensive if you add Gold cover. Jeep Grand Cherokee (or similar)

Best 2 SUV deals I can see.

Just booked this morning with Netflights through quidco and got a Dodge Caravan for 3 weeks with the Platinum upgrade for £560 - £5 less than the basic cost. Obviously a wee computer error. Don't know if it would work for your dates and car.
