Has anyone else priced car hire for next summer? I'm getting quotes for stupid prices, like £1200 for 3 weeks for an economy car. I didn't pay that for 4 week for a compact SUV in 2019. I checked my emails and I only paid £950. Is this likely to drop in price?

It isn't £250 more expensive as in 2019 we went for 4 weeks and had a much larger car.

Our annual passes are $180 more now. Thankfully our accommodation costs haven't increased as we are DVC members

yes, i priced it about 3 weeks ago and nearly swallowed my tongue.
Exactly what you found, rates for a compact that were higher than the minivan we rented last time.

When priced it again last night- still very high prices. What was odd was that the difference between a compact 2 door and a small SUV was only £200 for 24 days. Generally it's a 50% difference.
