Car Care Center shuttles? Time it takes to return a rental car?

How long does it take to return a rental car at the Car Care Center? I'll be driving in, but will want to ditch the rental asap because I like to drive as little as possible while on vacation. The WDW site says that they provide regular shuttles from the Car Care Center to the TTC, but there's no mention of how often they run. I have a dinner reservation that same evening, and right now my itinerary allows an hour and a half to drive to the CCC, gas up the car, return it, get a shuttle to the TTC, and get a bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge. Is that enough time? Would two hours be more realistic? I can't remember if resort buses run to the TTC anymore or only directly to MK, so I'm worried I might have the additional step of needing to take the monorail or ferry before I can catch the bus to AKL.

Edit to add: The alternative is keeping the car until midday the next day. That's the only day I currently have planned for park time, but I do already plan to take a midday break and then go to MK in the evening. I could drop the car off on the way, but then I'll have to allow extra time out of my park day to do it.

Edit again: Never mind; I remembered belatedly that the Dolphin has an Alamo location and changed my reservation to return it there, as I'm more confident in traveling to my dinner reservation via the bus stops in front of DHS.

You could just have called the CCC Alamo office directly and arrange for the shuttle van to take you to AKL directly. They need at least a 24 hr notice to do this. We have done this in the past.

Good point, and maybe that'll be a good option for a future trip. I'm not 100% positive when I'll arrive, though, so it'd be hard to pre-schedule a shuttle. I'm driving up from Miami and don't have an exact time for when I'm leaving or whether/how long of a lunch stop I'll take along the way.

We drove up from Naples once and dropped off our rental at the Car Care Centre. It was a pretty seamless process, and we arrived at the Boardwalk about 25 minutes after we dropped off the car; we were the only shuttle passengers though. Still, I thought that was a reasonable amount of transit time.
