Car Care Center at the Dolphin

I'm picking up a car on Friday afternoon and originally selected the Disney Car Care Center by the Hess station. We are going to go to Epcot that day so I was thinking that I should switch the reservation to the Dolphin Car Care Center. My question...if I take the boat to the Dolphin from the International Gateway, how far do I have to walk to get to the Car Care Center? Thanks!

It's a very short walk, get off the boat take a right into the Dolphin an go up to the main lobby on the 3rd floor. The rental desk is located there.

Just remember the rental counter at the Dolphin closes earlier than the Car Care Center. The Dolphin locatin closes at 4;00 pm the car care center info is below

** Also the prices at Disney are 3 times the amount of a car from the airport I priced a rental for my trip and the Disney price was $280 the airport price $84. for an 8 day rental! If I were you I would sign up for the Alamo Insider program which is free and then use your member ID to get a better price. I just looked and for this friday the daily rate at Disney location is $35 and the airport is $13. SO depending on how long you need your car it might be better to get it at the airport and just keeping the whole time you are there. I see the rental for 8 days is now $95 total. Something for you to think about. I used my Insider ID + the Insider Corp ID of 7015820 and there is a $40 off coupon listed on the May rental thread. Here is the coupon code AD4027JDO

Just a heads up that the alamo rental hrs at the dolphin are 8am - 4pm.

Alamo/National at the Dolphin is open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. You have to do the paperwork there during business hours, but you can pick-up the car from the valet any time.

FYI - the Dolphin location is not called "car care center", that is just the Hess World Drive location because there is auto repair available there.

Okay - seeing is believing! However, that's a highly unusual rate, and probably a glitch in Alamo's system that will be fixed very soon.

**I just tried contract I.D.# 7015820 for a week in October, and that number is invalid.

Its been happening all month long. If it were a glitch they would have fixed it by now. Just like the van rentals glitch that happen two weeks ago. Vans where cheaper than the mid-size!
