Car Booting Tomorrow!!*BEEN!!!*

I am in the middle of sorting all our junk out-and theres loads of it! We're doing a car boot tomorrow, I havent done one for years, my only concern is that i have to get up early tomorrow around 6am thats gonna kill me!
anyone got any tips for car booting??

Yes, wrap up warm, take an umbrealla and watch out for the early bird buyers who get there at the crack of dawn and hassle you as your
un-loading. Have fun though!!!

Yes, watch out for the traders who will circle you like vultures as you unpack your car! Have plenty of small change, plenty of carrier bags, and a thermos of something warm!

go to the loo !!! you won't get another chance , know your prices or price up before hand. Agree with other posts, the other booters will desend early and show no mercy!

I agree, and it can be quite sad to see your stuff go so cheaply - although I haven't done one for a few years, I always enjoyed them

I did one just before we moved house 2 years ago and made £200 Look at the big picture ie all the money you'll get rather than that only sold for 10p! Some people will even haggle over 10p About half way through lower all your prices so you don't have to take it home

well after all that it was cancelled! not enough car booters showed up because of the rain!! anyway theres one on tomorrow so we'll try again and hope it stays dry!
