Car. Beach or Coranado Springs?

One of our goals is to stay at as many of the Disney resorts as possible. We are now DVC members, but will be combining our DVC stay with a night or two at either CBR or CSR. Which do people prefer? Last year we stayed at POR and loved it, and we also enjoyed POFQ the year before (although POR was much better for us) and we are eager to try the remaining two moderates. Thanks for any opinions!

Between those two, I'd pick Coronado Spring. The pool is more comparable to the quality of the POR theme pools.

Out of those two, I'll put in my vote for the Carribbean Beach Resort. I like the atmosphere there better than the Coronado Springs. I don't like the way they run the food court at the Coronado Springs, and I found the walls there to be paper thin--we could hear our neighbors talking at a moderate volume, and the footfall of our upstairs neighbors. If you chose the Carribbean Beach Resort, avoid Trinidad South--it's a hike to the food court from there.

I'm working my way to stay at all the Disney resorts. I just have the GF, YC, AKL, OKW, and a couple of all stars left (although I may end up skipping those).

Definitely CSR!!!

The Pepper Market is great! You just have to realize it is not a food court then you won't be disappointed. A food court is heat lamp food, the Pepper Market is freshly made food. So yes, it will take longer but that is okay with me. The 10% doesn't bother me either but I don't mind tipping.

Much better pool at CSR.

Noisey neighbors are noiseyt neighbors whether I'm staying at CSR or any other resort. I've never had an issue with noise.

IMO CSR is the best choice.

CBR is a great resort. We like it much better than CSR. I think you do more walking at CSR also.

Both resorts are similar but I prefer CSR over CBR. Great pool and CSR offers more deluxe amentities. I also enjoy the new internal shuttle system which drastically reduces the amount you have to walk.

These are my two favorite resorts.

CSR is beautiful, great tranportation, love Pepper Market and Maya Grill has a great breakfast buffet, best pool. Mousekeeping wasn't the best. (we had two trash cans and they only would empty one)

CBR is also beautiful, most storage space in room, CM's and mousekeeping the best we've had, food court good, great bus service. Very close to MGM and Epcot. We thought the pool could be updated a bit.

If I had to pick a favorite between the two, it would be CBR because of how close it is to MGM and Epcot.

Never stayed at CBR but I can tell you that CSR is beautiful and we love the Pepper Market. Maya Grill is also very, very good. The kids seem to love the pool with a great slide and they have the largest hot tub (from my understanding).

I'm glad to know I am not the only one that wants to try all of the resorts- my DH just doesn't get it the poor thing We very strongly disliked the CBR but it could be just us. He loved the CSR but I kept getting lost The pool was very cool, we liked the food and the theming was nice. Our complaint about the CBR was too large and the bird poop bridge yuck!
