So my wife and I took our daughter out to the park to play on mothers day. It also gave me a chance to do some shooting :) I didn't worry about Abby actually looking at me (despite my wife telling her to "look at daddy!") I just caught what happened naturally, which I really suggest people do. Here are a few of my favorites:

Here is the reaction I got when we tried the "Look at Daddy" approach:

wonderful photos!! What a SWEETIE!!!! :goodvibes

they are all cute but i like the candid shots better, mostly because imo they capture what appears to be her tentative "should i or shouldn't i go on this thing or not" expressions

The first one looks fantastic!! You couldn't have got that shot in a million years if you'd been looking for it.

Great pix! That's something I"m trying to focus on during our next trip to WDW - getting some un-posed, natural shots of my boys enjoying themselves. They're 15 and 17, so they tend to horse around for posed shots anyway.

Great candid shots! I would take any one of those on my wall before most 'studio' type portraits I see. Good work!

I tell you what, it helps when you have a good subject :) She is a natural! All I had to do was make sure I was ready (and really thankful I got a dslr!)
