I hear a lot about little gems on property. Lately, its the grilled cheese at Captian Cooks at the Poly. Has anyone been there? What kind of prices are ranging there? What did you think? Thanks for the help!

Just had a Grilled Cheese from Captain Cooks in Sept. It was very good however the hot lettuce did not appeal to me so I pulled it off. There prices are really reasonable and the Dole Whips are great for dessert, we took ours out to the beach and sat on the swing to enjoy it :) Enjoy!

Captain Cook's is a counter service location so their prices are very fair. Now when I stayed at the Polynesian in December 2007 and would eat there my favorite item was the Adult Grilled Cheese, however I would always order it without the Blue Cheese.

Captain Cooks has some really good sandwhiches I remember and the chips are good as well. I love sitting outside on the patio and enjoying lunch.

Captain Cook's is one of our favorite CS spots in the world. The Aloha Pork sandwich is just wonderful! I had the grilled cheese and loved it, but that was years ago. It has bleu cheese, so beware (not everyone is a fan). We also tried the noodle bowl which was very good and loaded with veggies, and the hawaiian flatbread, which was good for a little twist.

The atmosphere at the Poly is fun, so if you've never been there before, I highly recommend stopping by!

Mmmmmmmm, love the Aloha Pork Sandwich!! Pulled pork, pineapple coleslaw, cucumbers, and cheddar cheese on a Hawaiian Roll...it's the best ever!!

Here's another vote for the Aloha pork! It is to me, the best CS sandwich on Disney property! I can not wait to have one in December. I am going to try to fit a 2nd one in somewhere along the way--possibly before MVMCP!

The Aloha pork is WONDERFUL, but don't forget about the Tonga Toast for Breakfast!!! And it is just a quick monorail ride from MK!

We LOVE Capt Cooks...the food is excellent for counter service. Our faves are the adult grilled cheese, the chicken lo mein and the bbq sandwich with housemade chips

Sounds good...I'm staying there in December...I'll have to check it out.

Ate breakfast there not too long ago when my parents were visiting and had the Egg, Cheese, and Canadian Bacon Sliders. I was really impressed. They were great. I couldn't eat them both, so my dad helped :)

WOW I am sooo GLAD you all said something about the Blue Cheese. My wife is allergic and it would have either killed her or made her deathly ill. Normally, I'm the one that makes sure about her allergies and didn't realize it. That said, I'm still looking forward to it!

I love Capt Cooks! The stir fried noodles are my favorite, but I've tasted the pork sandwich and hawaiian flatbread and those were tasty too!

When ordering it on their touch screen system they have a section where you can put down no Blue Cheese.

We just were there a few weeks ago We had some fabulous food and Captain Cooke's really didn't live up to the hype for us. The Aloha pork and grilled cheese were okay. I wouldn't order a flatbread or burger again, they weren't very good. On the other hand the noodle bowl and dole whips were great. I just wouldn't make an speciial trip there, unless I was staying at Poly.
